Description   999 Shaving Brushes was established in 1996 in India. We currently offer handles in five design and three different materials. The knots are made of natural bristles (Boar) and are formed in-house. Our first generation brush featured an elegant wooden handle made out of seasoned rosewood and natural boar bristles. The handle was styled to fit comfortably in the hand and work the brush to give a fantastic shaving experience. The wooden handle was further lacquered and polished to make it water resistant. We continue selling our Timber shaving brushes today. To diversify our product line we experimented with acrylic and started selling our Trust shaving brushes which was an instant success. In 2014 we introduced our new line of brushes that featured handles made of resin. We choose resin as it gave us the flexibility to design handles with different shapes and colors. We continue to use natural boar bristles for our knots. We also use the finest quality of boar bristles which gives us the best spread and finest shave. One unique feature of our brush is that it can be soaked in hot/warm water for a comfortable clean shave every time. We currently feature three styles in resin: Edge, Vital and Red. 999 Shaving Brushes are marketed and sold through our parent company MarktSq.com KNOTS The performance of a shaving brush depends not only on the quality and type of bristles used but also on how the knots are formed. Since inception we have always built the Knots in-house. The process starts with weighing the bristles to ensure that the knot size is consistent. Once the bristles are weighed we then form the knots using our proprietary jigs designed exclusively for this function. We then complete the formation of the knot by using a special epoxy. Our three step gluing process minimizes the shedding of the bristles. The knots are formed in a way that splays easily allowing the brush to retain water and air needed to create a fuller lather. We only use Natural Bristles or Boar Bristles for all our models. For best results when using 999 Shaving Brushes we suggest that the brush be soaked in hot or warm water for a few minutes before each shave. Doing this allows the brush to soak up water making it soft and resulting in a rich warm lather and a comfortable shave. We welcome bulk and wholesale inquiries.
